Team Leader Warehouse FG (Finished Goods)

As Team Leader Warehouse Finished Goods, you play an essential role in planning, coordinating and monitoring all warehouse activities. You ensure that our operational processes run smoothly and safely. In addition, you are a real team player who motivates and guides his/her team to achieve the set goals together.

Your responsibilities

  • You support the ordering department, who process incoming sales orders from all over the world and plan and order transport, with container calculations. You prepare loading plans for the packers and container loaders in your team.
  • You receive, process and plan picking orders from the delivery service. You ensure that picking orders are carried out correctly and on time. You maintain good communication with production, the ordering department and quality control, and are flexible where necessary.
  • You plan packaging and ensure accurate labelling and packaging, especially of hazardous products.
  • You manage the stock of packaging materials and other accessories and ensure timely ordering and call-off to avoid shortages.
  • You ensure a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety instructions. You are responsible for a neat and orderly work floor.
  • You monitor productivity and optimise the use of resources.
  • You ensure compliance with applicable legislation and regulations concerning transport (ADR, IMDG, IATA), environment (storage of dangerous products) and insurer (limiting fire load).
  • You act quickly and adequately in the event of any infringements. You supervise internal and external inspections and audits.
  • You lead the warehouse team, motivate and develop employees and ensure a good team spirit.
  • You manage documents, work instructions and procedures, and you actively support the ISO9001 Quality Management System. You investigate customer complaints and other non-conformities, and determine corrective and preventive measures.
  • You identify improvement opportunities and implement improvements in various areas (safety, quality, ergonomics, cost, working method, process, etc.).
  • You organise and lead the periodic inventory, and you ensure high stock accuracy by thoroughly investigating and preventing discrepancies between the physically counted stock and ERP SAP.


Your profile

  • You have proven experience in a leadership role within a warehouse environment.
  • You have knowledge of logistics, safety regulations, etc.
  • You hold a lift and reach truck certificate, with smooth and safe operation of these vehicles.
  • You possess excellent organisational skills, the ability to set priorities and monitor them in a customer-oriented and assertive manner.
  • You are hands-on, customer-oriented and administratively literate.
  • You have strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English. Speaking and some understanding of French and/or German is useful to help our drivers.
