R&D Engineer

Your responsibilities

• You research existing products and develop new ones.
• You collaborate closely with the commercial team and colleagues to ensure products meet customer expectations.
• You analyze the properties of raw materials and inks, continuously seeking ways to improve product performance.
• You simulate production conditions in a lab setting and work with the production team to implement necessary adjustments.
• You provide support to customers by assisting with testing and production processes.
• You evaluate new and existing raw materials for potential applications.
• You ensure that all products meet strict food safety and sustainability standards.
• You contribute to the ongoing development of the R&D lab.

Your profile

• You hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
• You have two to three years of experience in the printing industry, preferably with UV/LED printing inks or coatings.
• You are familiar with key technologies such as radiation curing, dispersion, or rheology.
• You are experienced with lab instruments and analysis software.
• You are results-oriented and project-focused, with a strong analytical and creative mindset.
• You have strong interpersonal skills and can work independently.
• You are proficient in MS Office 365.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
