QC Coordinator (Belgium)

As QC Coordinator, you will be the point of contact within the QC department. You will ensure compliance with quality and safety standards and support the QC team in their daily tasks.

Location: Niel; Belgium

Your responsibilities

  • You will supervise and coach QC Technicians to ensure that daily operations run efficiently and safely.
  • You monitor and enforce safety measures, act on violations and record incidents and improvement actions. You report on this to the QC Manager.
  • You ensure that working procedures (SOPs) are up-to-date, manage laboratory supplies and monitor master standards, retained samples and batch tickets.
  • You inspect incoming and outgoing batches, assess them against specifications and provide feedback to the production department. You also maintain laboratory equipment and report quality deviations.
  • You motivate and develop employees, set clear goals and give constructive feedback. You build a positive working environment by tackling challenges together and resolving conflicts.

 

Our profile

  • You obtained a professional Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or similar laboratory training.
  • You have proven experience in quality control, preferably in the ink, paint or coating industry.
  • You possess a sound knowledge of safety, housekeeping and 5S. Basic knowledge of chemistry is required.
  • You tackle issues proactively, think in solutions and have a distinct handson mentality.
  • You have strong leadership skills and adopt a team-oriented approach.
  • You have experience with SAP (QM module) and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong Excel skills (formulas, data conversion, pivot tables) are a plus
