Process Engineer

As a Process Engineer you play a key role in improving and supporting our production processes. You help drive sustainable operational improvements across Safety, Quality, Cost, 
and Delivery (SQCD) while contributing to the further digitalization of our manufacturing environment. You will work closely with Production, Maintenance, HSE, and Lab teams to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and support the implementation of new technologies and data-driven solutions.
 

Your role

  • You analyze and monitor production processes and data to identify inefficiencies and waste, improve process stability, and increase operational efficiency.
  • You develop clear dashboards and reports that provide insight into performance. This ensures that data is accessible and actionable, contributing to data-driven decisionmaking within the team.
  • You translate production data into clear insights so that the team knows exactly where the priorities and areas of focus lie.
  • You support the implementation of digital production tools and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • You create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process checklists.
  • You organize training sessions to ensure the successful adoption of new processes and standards.
  • You lead or support projects related to safety, ergonomics, environment, digitalization, and CAPEX investments.
     

Your profile

  • You have between 1 and 5 years of experience in continuous improvement in an industrial setting in the manufacturing industry.
  • You have a strong analytical mindset combined with a hands-on approach. You know how to bring order and structure to complex environments.
  • You are comfortable working with data. You have advanced knowledge of Excel, experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP, MES, or other manufacturing data systems is a nice to have.
  • A basic understanding of or experience with Lean and Six Sigma is an advantage for broader support in the future.
  • You have strong communication skills at all levels. You are approachable, listen well, and can easily connect with people across all layers of the organization, from operators to management.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
