Toyo Ink Europe Team Completes Intensive Training at Omet Demo Center — Enhancing Flexographic Expertise
Staying ahead in flexo printing means never standing still. That's why we recently participated in a two-day advanced training course at the Omet Demo Centre, led by well-respected flexo expert Stefano D'Andrea. This hands-on programme deepened our understanding of flexographic printing and brought together colleagues from different departments and regions to strengthen both our know-how and cooperation.
A Cross-Departmental Participation
We were proud that participants from all our divisions - sales, R&D, quality control, manufacturing and technical support - gathered all together at the Omet facility. Teams from our headquarters in Belgium were joined by colleagues from the UK, Spain and Germany. This followed previous training efforts, such as a dedicated session for the French sales team, and shows our commitment to building consistent knowledge across all the markets we serve.
This session also supported the further course of our collaboration with our distribution partner T&K in Italy, where shared learning and expertise are essential to building a strong presence in the local flexo market

Commitment to Continuous Innovation
Under the expert guidance of Stefano D'Andrea, participants received both in-depth theory and practical demonstrations using our own Steraflex LED series of inks on one of Omet's latest flexographic presses. We focused not only on technical details, but also on real-life troubleshooting and application, how to control dot gain, and prevent common problems such as ghosting, misting, bridging, spitting and more.
We have addressed typical industry challenges based on real problems our customers have faced, preparing our team to deal with a wide range of scenarios. Flexo now holds no secrets for our flexperts!
Strengthening Customer Support Capabilities
The input from different departments and countries allowed us to share perspectives, challenge assumptions and gain a better understanding of flexo printing, how it works, how to solve problems and how to support our customers more effectively.
Our desire to constantly learn creates an environment in which there is room for continuous improvement. It enables our team to develop better products and smarter solutions, while maintaining the collaborative spirit that stimulates excellence in everything we do.

Looking Forward
This training is a follow-up to last year's offset printing session at Koenig & Bauer and is part of our long-term strategy of continuous learning. As technology and customer needs evolve, we want to make sure we are ready - not only with great products, but also with people who know how to use them to their full potential.
We continue to invest in joint learning across teams, boundaries and partners because when we grow together, we collectively achieve more.
To Stefano D'Andrea, a special thanks for providing such an engaging and highly valuable training to all of us, to Luca Mauri and Deborah Barbieri of T&K for the impeccable technical and practical organisation, and to Omet for welcoming us in their state-of-the-art training facility.
